Mutes

Post by Basement »

With recent college changes I'm looking to buy a tuba mute specifically something to fit around a 20" bell. Living in an apartment sucks but I'm trying to make the most of it!

Please let me know of anyone selling mutes!!

I really liked the Denis Wick Practice mute , used ut for a long time on my Tuono, 19 inch bell, id get some insulation tape and line the area that makes contact with the bell though that way you avoid all the little knicks and dings from the mute since it is a metal mute. But i liked it, even more so than the Schlipf mute.
