SOLD: New Holton tuba leadpipe

Post by Matt Walters »

LOWER PRICE: I have a brand new factory original HOLTON tuba leadpipe SOLD for $65 including Conus 48 states USPS shipping. .615"ish OD on the small end and .805"ish OD on the large end. Pitch filled and pre-bent for around the bell of front action .750" bore tubas. I got this brand new leadpipe from Holton about 30 years ago and never used it. It seems to be set up for front action 6/4 horns like the 345 and 350 model tubas but will be a short wrap around. i.e. the mouthpiece will be very close to the bell like the big York style CC tubas have. Pipe will let you go into the valve casing at a 45 degree instead of turning up then over the bell. Perfect for someone doing a BBb to CC cut I would think. Overall length is about 22" so you have room to bend and cut to fit your particular project. I accept PayPal.
