FS: VMI/B&S 103 BBb Tuba - MINT!

Here is beautiful BBb tuba for sale. It is a VMI 103. (If you don't know, VMI is the company that makes B & S tubas.). I can't decide if this tuba is "Mint" or "Near-mint". It is in fantastic shape shape and is pretty much like a new horn. The valves are beautiful - silent and snappy - with a surprising short paddle throw. All slides work perfectly. There are a couple very small scratches. No signs of damage, repair, anything else unexpected. Original MTS case is in great shape. Still has that "new case" smell! I am open to shipping but a local sale would be great. $4300

These are great tubas; nearly identical to the older B&S PT-1 BBb tubas The asking price on this like-new tuba and case is really good.
If this tuba alone was sold brand new in a store today, the price would be more than double Tom's asking price
These tubas play/sound great, and are very well-made. 'Nuff said
