FS: B&S PT-6P 5/4 CC (Pistons w/ rotary trigger)

I am looking to get this horn into the hands of an individual that will put it to good use. It's a tremendous horn with a broad, warm sound, and is incredibly responsive. It enabled me to perform with every major ensemble at Florida State University, and is in better shape now than when I purchased it from a departing studio member.

There are a few scratches along the body (facing the player), base of the horn and around the bell, but all major dents have been professionally rolled out, and it was ultrasonically cleaned within the past year. Any current use has been minimal, and primarily in tests by the technician. Additionally, custom work was done to ensure stability with the trigger motion.

I am based in Tallahassee, FL, and possibly willing to travel within the Tri-State region for very serious inquiries. I am asking for $9,000 for the horn.

I also have an XL Nylon Cronkhite gigbag for the horn; however, the primary zipper of the bag is broken, so the bag itself will need repairs before it is fully functional. The bag retails around $800+, and I know that Glenn Cronkhite takes repair orders, I just haven't had the time or the need to repair it. Their website even quotes a zipper replacement for around $75-$125. If you're interested in the horn, you can take the case as a compliment (or not, I won't be offended either way).
