FS: Böhm & Meinl 3v recording bell BBb $350

This is a smaller (7/8 sized, about the same as an Olds O-99) 3 valve BBb tuba with recording bell made in Germany by Böhm & Meinl. The bore is 18mm/.709”, so a bit smaller than the B&M-made York Master horns.

It arrived to me disassembled in parts, in very poor shape, and I took out the lion’s share of the dents and put it back together so it does have signs of repair. There are a few patches and I added another on the bell-facing side of the mouthpipe.

That said, valves are in great shape, all slides move, and it packs a great punchy sound with good intonation. The recording bell measures about 20.5”.
