Cherry Beauregard 1933-2025

I am sad to report the passing of Cherry Beauregard, age 92. Cherry was the longtime tubist with the Rochester Philharmonic and the Eastman Brass and notably Associate Professor of tuba at the Eastman School of Music. His early career saw him performing as a member of the Bavarian State Opera Orchestra before returning to Rochester. He was the classiest person one could meet and I hold many dear memories from my time studying with him.

Rest in peace, Cherry, and thanks for all you did for me and the countless students you influenced.
