Hello All,

Auditions for the William Paterson University Music Department are in progress. There are great opportunities here for scholarships for all qualified brass players.

William Paterson is located in Wayne, NJ and is roughly 30 minutes from NYC. If your prime interest is in music education or sound engineering, this might be the place for you. I've been teaching here since 1993.

Here are the live audition dates:

Friday, February 6, 2026
Friday, March 13, 2026
Friday, April 10, 2026

Live auditions run between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Earlier is better, as far as scholarship opportunities go. All applications must be received by January 1st for full consideration for institutional scholarships. You must audition by February 28th to be considered for the Tami Cotsakos '71 award. April 1 is the deadline for submitting applications (including all supplementary materials) for the Fall.
