Old Perantucci mouthpiece specs

Post by Braumeister »

I have an OLD Perantucci 21. I believe that the numbering system changed sometime in the 80s or 90s. This mouthpiece pre-dates that, so it’s the old numbering system. Does anyone have the specs on it? Rim diameter, throat diameter, etc.

Per the charts, the older 21 became the PT34, which appears no longer to be made. The specs for the PT-34 on Dave Werden's page are:

PT34 -- Rim: 32.50mm / 1.280", Rim Width: 7.5, Throat: 8.4mm

Mr. Tuba has a history page on the mouthpieces here.

Your best bet would be to contact Bob Tucci directly at the RT mouthpieces website.
