I fully 2nd this statement! I have always been extremely pleased with the work Vladimir has done for me.

I have always gone through Matt Walters with anything done by Dillon and Matt has always gone out of his way to make me feel like almost like I am his only customer and I know he does this for everone else I have talked to. Kudos to a great team there!

I sent an old Conn 2 mouthpiece in for Vlad to restore ... came back better than the original which I bot from Conn back in the late 1940's.

I have a Conn Helleberg that looks like someone left it in a washing machine. It's completely pockmarked on the outside and rim. I wonder if he could restore something like that. It's one of the coveted oldies with the ribbed ring in the middle. Worth it?

How about a NY Vincent Bach BBb tuba mouthpiece? It's probably from the same era, but it's not as collectible, is it?
Wasn't the $400 ebay piece that high because it had once belonged to Arnold Jacobs? Mine has no such provenance.

I'm not aware of the Mt. Vernon tuba mouthpieces having any special appeal. But I've got a Mt. Vernon 18 and will happily sell it for $50 to whomever wants it.

As I recall, it was strongly rumored to have once belonged to Mr. Jacobs. For a small cut, if you'd like, I'll tell strong rumors about yours- replated or not!
