Russian Mode
We are in a big "Russian" mode this Fall
(Brahms 4 & some Haydn in the mix along the way though)
September 2nd (tonight) is the last of our Summer park concerts: Doing Glier's Russian Sailor Dance as part of a program with Ippolitov-Ivanov's Caucasian Sketches. I am covering the Bass Trombone parts on "In the Mountain Pass" and "Procession of the Sadar"
October: Rimsky-Korsakov - Capriccio Espagñol
December: Tchaikovsky - March Slave
