Replacement wheels & hardware

Replacement wheels & hardware
Hirsbrunner tuba case

I am in need of replacement wheels/mounting hardware for a tuba case (wheels attached to one of the Custom Music cases supplied for Hirsbrunner and PT tuba cases). This is the type that has a wing nut allowing for removal of the wheel and its axle from the mounting hardware.

The archives were searched already, including pursuing a suggestion posted by Bloke regarding the Ohio Travel Bag company and its hardware products, but no luck.

Is anyone able to point me to a North American source that I can contact for replacement parts?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't know about replacement parts for your specific case, but I've built my own cases using parts from these folks:

Try McMaster-Carr at http://www.mcmaster.com/ and look under "Material Handling> Wheels" then #1205

I found some wheels there for the upgrade of my old Hoton 345 case. The wheels were exatly the same as the ones Walt Johnson uses on his cases. Grey with a soft, easy rolling rubber tread.
