My experience says play what YOU are comfortable with AS MUSICALLY AS YOU CAN.

Why not play Air and Bouree using BBb fingerings? So what if it's pitched two semitones higher? You're there to show off your musicality, no?

I totally agree. IF you're comfortable with that; and if anyone notices (unlikely) - just tell them that Bach wrote Suite #3 in C, so that's what tuba you're playing it on :lol:

A minor pitard, but the Bouree is from the Bach 3rd VIOLIN Sonata in B Minor, not the Cello Suite Number 3 in C Major. Might as well keep it straight from the get go.
