Dear List,
On the Liz Walker Sunday show, on Boston Channel 4 this Sunday morning at 11, my trio is playing a really fast version of that great old klez/trad/swing era favorite, Bei Mir Bist du Schoen. Ted Casher wails an intro and leads it in on clarinet, Jimmy Mazzy tears into the banjo and vocals, and the tuba, well, mixes in klezmer and jazz rhythm and a solo that, as I remember the recording a few weeks back, milks the appogiatura for all it's worth.
This station, WBZ-TV, the CBS outlet, supposedly reaches around New England and into Canada.
Wth warm regards to all,
Eli Newberger

Wish I could pick that up down this way, Eli. I enjoyed your presentation at the White House the other day, BTW. Keep us updated on your activities musically and otherwise. You're a good ambassador for the instrument and the music as well as speaking for our youth.
