If you need replacement bumpers, these work quite nicely. The Ashbory bass (of which I have one) uses silicon rubber "strings". Pick the string with the required diameter and snip off a piece for your bumper.

It's been around for quite a while. It was discontinued for a while when there was some acquisition of brand names by other brand names, or something like that. I got mine before that happened. I looks like it is back by popular demand. Some people swear by it. I think it's more of a semi-interesting curiosity. It actually works and has sort of a hybrid electric / string bass sound. Notice that it says: 18-inch fretless scale. It is a small, short little booger.
