Bass Trombone double?...

I've tried a Weril bass trombone but I think it was a different model then that one. (Had a green counterweight and a different 2nd rotor paddle) I liked the way it played but the ergonomics were questionable for some people with either large hands or large necks. The rotor placement was rather tight for me and where the 2nd rotor was placed I couldn't have the slide far enough away from the bell for my liking. It played fine, but wouldn't have worked for me. Try before you buy.

I'll tell you, bass trombone is my double too, but if I had the money I'd go all out and buy an Edwards bass trombone. Their instruments are just PHENOMINAL! If you get a chance to play one at a conference booth somewhere, by all means, try it! You'll not be sorry you did. Now if only I could come up with $4000 to buy one... LoL.
