I upgraded to a horn with a much bigger bore and want something to accommodate that (Maybe a bigger shank would be a better choice?)

I use "big buckets" when doing the 8va basso playing BBb tuba in brass bands
What I usually use is a houser MK3 with a good size rim
Going for a larger shank will IMO not do much good as your receiver will still taper down to that same size
What I've found to work the best is an am shank on euro instruments with the internal
of the mouthpiece shank tapered as much as possible to be flush with the receiver
I think recommending one a mouthpiece is like recommending one a size of shoes
without knowing the persons size feet.
Going for a big bucket sized 10mm bore MP is not for everyone, but it sure is cool below staff
