I'm probably not going to purchase the mouthpiece/rim combination as I am happy with what I have, but I wholeheartedly encourage the production of rims in Lexan. I use a Kelly 18 outdoors, and I no longer have to worry about searing my chops to medium rare on Independence Day or freeze drying them for stir fry during the Christmas parade.

Moreover, my young son is allergic/hypersensitive to metal, so in a few years I may be purchasing one for him, instead of a DEG or Kelly.

its been so long since i played a SHII. the SHII is narrower for sure. the cup is very similar

i played a str8 LM7 and hated the rim, not the same at all. tried the reg helleberg rim and it was ok butt i like the 30H better.

played in lessons all day today and still liking the mpc alot w this rim. changed between the 30H and the LM7/26H and still like the overall sound and feel of this mpc

thanks on the compliment on my HHR. Shaggy has won 10 car shows and 2- 2nds and 2- no places. the no places were at participant judged contests w too many of their club friends there.

if i enter a show that is judged by real judges and i usually do well, usually 1st or 2nd.

the sound system is unreal. XR-650 Csi's in front and back seats and 12X3 in the rear.... 3- 300/2 driving each front set, back set and sub. i really love it,,,, sounds live all the time.

stock h/u for now till onstar is gone in Oct then a Pioneer 9800BT going in to make it all sing.

i did all the stereo myself, took me 40 hours and alot of learning

and if you look close you can see a ghosted bass clef w a decrescendo attached to it on both side doors going from front to back door handle

For anyone interested, I have some of these new rims in stock. They're $75, and for the inventory I have on hand, I'll include shipping.

Loud Mouthpiece

Post by jjelwood »

I am looking forward to purchasing a Loud Mouthpiece. Has anyone else tried or used this new combination. I use a Schilke-Helleberg II and wondered how they would compare.
