this is every bit a 5/4 tuba and should be quite good if it works properly as He suggests
Based on the pictures and measurements (18 3/4" bell), I would say it is probably about the same size as the BBb Monster, or the Eb Giant, or the "Donatelli," but with a smaller bell flare
Large 4/4-Compact 5/4. Definitely not a "6/4 Grand Orchestral"

I’d wager to say that this tuba was not cut, but rather lengthened from Eb. The somewhat golfclub like tuning slide and the double looped tubing after that lead me to believe this.
