What strikes me about the DCI videos is that the sound is harsh, clipped, and largely "white noise". Maybe the Japanese not only have kick-*** band programs, but know how to use technology properly too. :lol:

First, the Japanese marching video was shot in an indoor venue, naturally creating more reverb and "presence". Carrying this exercise in sillyness one step further: why couldn't they be using individual wireless mic-packs like singers use?

Its clearly obvious that is a badly synched video and the audio was recorded and engineered in a studio, performed by one of the service bands. Not to offend anyone, but to believe otherwise is just like saying you believe in santa AND the tooth fairy.
