It's amazing to see all of the other people interested in flight! (RC airplanes, model airplanes, actual sized airplanes)

Re: What are your hobbies?
Currently I am teaching myself to do brass repair work. Dents, solder, all that fun stuff. Putting a trumpet back together right now. It's tons of fun. (I do need to find a trumpet bell for it if anyone has one laying around)
I used to study Tae-Kwon-Do and was at one time a second degree black belt with a few Junior Olympic medals. Decided after a number of broken bones and one near fatal battle in the ring that music is much nicer on the body.

Ha, i only ever bought a radio that glowed in the dark to get my son started. He would not let me leave on extended sail cruising until we both had our ticket (with 13wpm at that time) so he could 'keep track' of me.snorlax wrote:There are a few amateur radio operators around here...maybe it's time for another roll call...arminhachmer wrote:tuba, amateur radio, tuba, scratch built fixed wing RC model aircraft, tuba, running my own Dixie band, tuba, running my own Oompah band, getting gigs for both of those plus gigs for a 40 piece band, tuba...oh and eating and sleeping. I like to investigate unusual spiritual pursuits, try to find new ways of thinking about things that we think we already know everything about, and in general just ruffle people's intellectual feathers while in Motor Brain Mode.
