Do you think you might have lost it in Texas? If you lost it somewhere in Texas, I am certain I can find it. I'll just look around.

Um, should I have specified it was one of those reusable nalgene bottles? And it was full of tap water when I last saw it, so feel free to take a swig.

If we are doing the lost & found thing:

I left a jacket in a hotel in Tulsa, following the 2009 Tulsa Oktoberfest. If found, please contact me so that you may ship it back to me.

Drove 25 minutes each way to attend an orchestra rehearsal tonight only to find they didn't need trombones tonight. Bummer! 2nd bone and I showed up to find that the pricipal was supposed to have enlightened us. He had better bring his earplugs to the next rehearsal. Flak jacket might be a good idea as well.

Bass trombone for Peer Gynt and Swan of Tuonela tomorrow night. My whole concert consists of 49 measures of umpah followed by 11 measures of repeated bottom space A. Then the excitment is over and I go home. Hardly worth cleaning the tux. Sunday morning I'm filling in on trumpet for an absentee and Sunday afternoon I finally get to play some music with my quintet. Tuba even. Can't wait!

I am now part of the Macintosh world. Been an iPod owner/user for a few years now, but now I am also the proud owner of a Macbook Pro 13. Almost done transferring my files from the PC with minimal effort. Maybe I'll look at the iPhone when I'm due for a new phone too.

Thank you Steve Jobs.

You have been updated (from the new Mac).

RATS! Now it's no longer politically correct to eat cookies or to want other people to eat cookies. It's all Pillsbury's fault!
Oh, great -- so now we all have to toss our cookies? Bleahhhh ...

So........the 44mag round is so powerful that Ruger stopped producing the pistol configured for it due to parts falling off from the recoil.............Hmmmmmm. I will give them credit for standing behind their product. Good luck.

Umfortunately I have triple booked myself for Thursday night. Bible study at church, trombone choir rehearsal and "Pictures" with the Atlanta Symphony. What should I do? Send the wife to the bible study, go to Pictures by myself and ignore the bones? Wonder if Michael will atempt bydlo on his F or pass it off to one of the bones? Stay tuned for the rest of the story.

Joe, Me thinks Mrs. Bloke has far too much influence on your thought processes. Me also thinks Mrs. Al would disagree. However, I think I may have this all worked out to everyone's pleasure. The only thing for sure at this moment is that I'm going to blow off the bones.

After a couple of rough years including being medically separated from the Army and getting divorced, life is good. I am in an excellent relationship, playing Euphonium in the Marywood University Wind Ensemble and, most recently, got accepted into VA's Vocational Rehab which will eventually lead to a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Life is good, my friends. :D

During rehearsal of the 1812 Overture, I shifted my lips and played really loud. The bass section vomitted en mass and the bass trombonist's ears started bleeding. Do you have any tips for how I can play louder?
