2. Raise gig bag (open end down) over tuba.
3. Lower gig bag onto tuba.
What's confusing!?

Using the me first, me with tuba method second, I came up with 18.8 lbs. for my Cerveny 681 5valve CC with Loud stainless steel mouthpiece on my home scale.
