worst comes to worst, I take it out and never put it back in...
usually they try to place it far enough back that it's not a big problem for chipping teeth, but it does happen...
I think I might end up as a grumpy old man when I get old...

got it...and it's all good...I like it...and tuba playing as far as I could tell was unaffected. The only thing that's different is that flutter tonguing is not as easy, but I don't know of any pieces that I have played that have asked for it.
the oddest thing with a tongue piercing? eating. :roll:
