Join a nudist colony. Just think of all the time you currently waste getting dressed, not to mention doing laundry.

My request, is that if you have an extra 30-60 minutes lying around, could you send it to me? I'll even take 10-15 min. snippets, if you've got 'em.
I had some time I'd have been glad to donate, but I let it slip away.

Don't you mean really big towels?

HYGENE towels!
Actually, having no direct or indirect knowledge of nudist camps, I did not know. I thought you meant towles to modestly cover certain body parts.

no the point of nudist or 'naturist' activities is to not hide from your phisical body through the false modesty of clothing....or some such.

UPDATE!

finally got my tuba back from the shop!

so I now have a late 60's vintage miraphone 186 BBb, that all the valves work on, doesn't have air leaks at bow joints, and holds itself together, and sounds great!

Now the hard part....practice and playing....

I suppose that's why nudist camps really aren't particularly popular, at least once the adolescent males who dream of them see who is actually there.

Update: It's not my body or my modesty that I'm afraid of. It's those other people with the big sticks and pitch forks, coming at me with those averted eyes and angry faces, that I fear.

See-- this is why I need to keep my time on tubenet sacred. where else could my request for time be turned into Rick somehow talking about "trimming weeds" and such.

This just in...

I was watching Modern Marvels on The History Channel and the topic was acids. The reason you cry when you cut onions is that a very weak sulfuric acid gas is emitted that irritates the eyes. The natural response is to produce tears to dilute the irritant.

UPDATE:

Ladies and gentlemen, I have misplaced my lucky Audition underpants. This audition I have today doesn't look so good.

Oh well. I'll just have to wear my lucky Final Exam socks.

That will only work if the audition is on a Friday.
Hopefully you are wearing more than the lucky socks and lucky underwear.....

You guys wish me luck. My tuba's on its way to Seattle U.P.S ground. I packed it myself and pray it will be playable when it arrives (yeah, I put a soft basketball in the bell). I packed my home made valve oil and Kelly mouthpiece in with the horn. My G&W Diablo mouthpiece and two mikes with chords go with me in my luggage.
No tuba stand for me. If there are no mike stands available, I can wrap and tape the tuba mike in a washcloth and slide it down the bell. I guess I can hold the vocal mike in my left hand.

Update Update:

I am back at college, and I did a whole bunch of busy work today (business office, campus life, registrar).

Had my concert band and jazz band audition as well. It went alright on both instruments, but I'm not so worried about those ensembles.

My brass choir and brass quintet auditions are tomorrow, I'm crossing my fingers for good results, especially for quintet. I really want the position.
