Oh, nothing important, Joe. Just having a little fun. It has been a long week and I have a football game to do tomorrow night. Can you believe we play high school football in August now in Texas? Forecast high for tomorrow is 100 degrees. Why am I doing this?

For the money, of course!

I knew there was a reason. I was so hot and sweaty that I simply forgot what it was.
Back to the business at hand: It drives me crazy when someone refers to a "Helleburg" or "Hellenburg" mouthpiece. Helleburg is probably some little hamlet in the Austrian Alps. Hellenburg? I don't know what or where the hell that is. Anyone ever heard of Arnold Jakobs, Harvey Fillips or Bill Belle? August Helleberg is an important part of our musical heritage. Let's at least spell his name right.
My other pet peave is those who insist on calling that big thick book that sits on our stands as "The Arbans". Its Arban. No "s" on the end so it's not plural or possesive. Anyone ever play out of Rochuts Melodious Etudes for the Trombone?
I also get annoyed by trolls who "hide in the bluegrass" and try to pass themselves off as Texans.
