I am posting this Wessex Wyvern on the behalf of my studio-mate Quentell, a student at CIM. The horn in question is a great CC for a student or young pro, as it does everything you need for a really good price. Here’s a copy of the description on Facebook Marketplace:
Wessex Wyvern Tuba. 5/4 CC tuba. $4900. The tuba was new in November 2018. The thumb ring broke off two weeks after buying the tuba but it was awkward so I didn’t bother getting it welded back on. The valves are comfortable as is! I’ll throw in the Wessex Chief Mouthpiece that came with the tuba. And an AMAZING Gard bag. I think it plays great, the slots are above average and the sound pops. Projection and clarity are great on the horn too. I like my legato playing on it too. The original price was $6500. The instrument is located in Cleveland, OH.

Quentell is a great guy and a fabulous player! He really does sound great on this Wessex and I am sure that it is a great quality 5/4 CC tuba for the money! The buyer is getting a deal deal here and I cannot say enough positive things about this tuba and the seller.
