I’m putting my Wessex “Chicago Presence” up for sale. I bought it new in 2020 and it’s been great since. I recently switched to a different tuba and I have no need for 2 CC tubas.
The finish is “brushed silver” as described by the Wessex website, and is still in great condition. There are some dings on the body and one small one on the bell but nothing that affects the playing.
Price is $5,900 and it comes with a Wessex gig bag and a hard case with wheels. I’m willing to travel pretty much anywhere in Texas for purchase (preferably Austin or DFW). But any shipping will be at the buyer’s expense and liability.

This is a great price for a fantastic instrument. Won a premier military band audition on mine. If you’re looking for a forever 6/4 CC tuba that’s objectively good, regardless of price, give this tuba a look!
