As requested here is the equipment used on the recording:
Miraphone 281 "Firebird" 6 valve F tuba.
This is the prototype horn. Also used in the recent Mahler 1 broadcast. These horns are just now starting to come into the states. if you haven't tried one, your in for a treat.
GW Stainless F tuba piece. This is available through GW's web site. Great control and very comfortable rim. Best of all, it matches the C tuba piece rim.
