I’m looking to sell my Wessex Cavalry Eb. This horn is no longer sold by Wessex but was a stencil in the style of the Besson 983. It’s silver, 4/4 and has 4 compensating front action piston valves. It is in good condition with average wear and tear such as minor dents along the bottom bow and some micro scratches on the silver. The plating is otherwise completely intact. I bought it as my first bass tuba and it got me through my undergrad well. While I’ve enjoyed the horn I am now looking to switch to an F. Located in Phoenix Arizona and I’m willing to drive a while to meet a serious buyer. I would prefer not to ship but will at the buyers expense and liability. Comes with a hard case and Wessex gig bag (one strap is ripped at the seam but I can likely do a quick fix on it). $3300 or best offer. Similar Wessex horns in silver are priced ~5-6k. I bought this one new about 3 years ago.
