Hi Everyone,
Up for sale is my B&S 3099/2W. This horn is the newer version of the PT-10 F tuba. I purchased this horn new from the tuba showroom at Schmitt Music in Bloomington, MN in 2022. Since then, this has been my main F tuba, aiding me in solo competitions, brass quintets, ensembles, and auditions. This horn has served me well during my undergrad, but now I am looking at moving up to a slightly larger F tuba.
The horn had some slight bell damage when it was shipped to Schmitt Music, but nothing that truly impacts how the horn plays. It also has a Saturn water key installed, as well as a slide catcher for the first valve slide, and Tindall mods done to the horn. The horn will also come with a stock B&S gig bag.
I'm asking $9000 for the instrument and the gig bag, but am open to reasonable offers. The horn is located in Miami, FL but I would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet a potential buyer. Shipping could be arranged, but the buyer would assume all costs and outcomes.
