How can I show you pictures?
I would like to show you a favorite tuba of mine from the 2. WW but I have no idea how to put the pictures on tubenet. Please help me! Thanks

You have to get the picture on the internet. TubeNet only links to pictures, it doesn't actually host them. Before you do anything else, I'm assuming that the picture is on your computer in some standard format. Please be sure that it is no larger than about 100Kbytes. Larger pictures will work, but modem users will find it frustrating to wait for it to load. If you don't know how to fix that, post again and I (or someone else) can tell you how. But I will tell you here how to get them onto the internet.
Okay. So you're editing a message in TubeNet, and you come to the point where you want to insert a picture. Open another browser window (typically this is done by pressing ctrl-N, or if that doesn't work by selecting "File" from the menu bar, and "New Window"). Now, in the new window, go to http://www.tinypic.com. When that comes up, click on "Browse", and locate the picture on your computer, then either double-click or select "open". That should bring your browser window back to tinypic, with the path to your file in the "Upload" box. Now, click "Host Picture". After the page reloads, you'll see your picture near the bottom. To the left, you'll see text boxes labled "Link", "Tag", "Img" and "Url". The first three are just the URL surrounded by different sorts of tags. TubeNet uses the third one, the "Img" form. Just highlight the text in that box, then right click on the highlighted text and select "copy". Now, go back to your TubeNet message, to the place you want to insert the picture. Click on that spot, then right click and select "paste" (there are many ways to perform copy & paste operations; if you have another you like better, of course you may use it). The "Img" string should appear in your message. In the edit window, it will just have the text, but when the message is displayed the text will be replaced by the picture.
If the picture is already on the internet, open the second browser window as described above, and navigate to the image. Now, right click on the image. There should be a line something similar to "Copy Image Location". Select that. Then, return to your message and paste it as described above. Finally, highlight the whole URL and click the "Img" button above. That will surround the URL with [img]and[/img] tags, which will cause the image to be displayed instead of the URL string.
Now, just to make sure that worked, click on the "Preview" button. Your image will show up just as it will for other users. You can continue to edit, adjust your spacing, add more text -- whatever. Once you're sure you've got it the way you want it, press "Submit", and you're done!

I like being able to host images large than 250K
ImageShack allows 1MB images, and will resize for you, to several sizes.
