I recall someone made a two part gig bag for these. Santa will bring me one if I can tell the little woman where to look.

I know that if you give Donna Altieri a call that she'll make a custom gig bag for any sort of odd-sized instrument you might have. Just describe it to her and tell her the measurements. I had one made this way a few years ago and was very pleased. She also has specs on hand for several different makes and models of tubas.
