He is an African-American tubist, living in Europe. He is phenomenal. He has been around awhile... in Europe.

He's not so new but recently has gotten a bit more recognition. His new CD is amazing. You can hear him on at least 4 CD's with the Austrian band called "Heavy Tuba", and on a Maceo Parker CD I can't remember the title of. He really has his own voice on the horn, and I can't imagine anything he can't play. Seeing him live is stunning, but a challenge when you live in America. Of course that wouldn't be true if we had a supportive enviroment here in America for the arts, but that's a different topic.
Peace. ASG

He plays on one of my favorite CDs, which is "Tuba! a Six Tuba Musical Romp," from 1992.
