I have an excellent Alexander CC 5v gold-brass horn made in the 60's that I am looking to trade. It has the original S linkage and its in great shape, very smooth, quite and valves that have great compression with absolutely no leaks. The Alex is a model 163 with only minor dings and the sound speaks for itself. I have owned and played several of these over the years and this is by far the best.
If there is anyone out there with a newer Alex, made in the past 3-5 years looking to trade, I have cash to make it worth your while so please contact me. If you know someone with a newer Alex please forward this. I will consider other horns like a PT6.
I know that my horn may not be valued the same with regards to a trade so to make it worth it I have cash to add to the deal.
My Alex comes with a Sound-Gear gig bag (like new) and a hard case that is in great shape.
Please email me directly at hthomasmcgrady@aol.com for pics and send pics of what you have.
Thanks,
Tom McGrady
