Is beer a beta blocker? If not it ought to be.

"Just Say No!"

Regarding the article: I find it hard to believe that hypertension is limited to the musical world; otherwise the phrase "going postal" would not have entered the lexicon, and I can't recall a single instance of a violist wigging out and shooting the music director and most of the second violins.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I don't use them, but the article sure put it in a stupid context...

Beta-blockers vs. steroids???

Classical music's dirty little secret?

Some people are born stupid; other people spend their entire lives pursuing it...

Just an FYI:
Hypertension or high blood pressure is a medical condition wherein the blood pressure is chronically elevated. While it is formally called arterial hypertension, the word "hypertension" without a qualifier usually refers to arterial hypertension. (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypertension)

I started in playing in marching bands... I've played the Winnipeg Arena....

you're always dealing with less people in the audience.

Maybe if I was playing at Wembley I'd worry... then again, I'm just generally apathetic.
