WTB:used 4/4-5/4 CC tuba in Canada --NO LONGER!

Post by thedeep42 »

Greetings,

I'm looking for a used CC tuba in Canada (or in north-western US):

-PT-20, MW 2155, WN-15, or anything of comparable size. Anything bigger (like a PT-606p) let me know, but I'm mainly looking for a tuba of medium build.
-In brass (raw or lacquer)
-5 valves
-I don't care if its well used as long as the moving parts move like their supposed to and the sound is high quality.

If all's right, I'm ready to move on it now!

cheers.

Contact tubacdk (Chuck Koontz) by PM. He's got a couple of horns you might be interested in. He's in LA, so he's not within driving distance, but he has two horns you should check out.

I've got a 5 valve CC Marzan that I'm looking to move. Dillon receiver. Good condition. Some minor dings. Valves are suberb. 5th valve adjustable between whole step and major 3rd. Located in Portland, OR.

Hi Andy: The Marzan is 4 piston and 5th rotary. There's a old photo of me playing this horn located online at http://www.bscjb.com/about_the_band/ban ... nson.shtml. I'm going to try and post close-ups over the next day or so. Cheers.
