Hi,
I'm interested in receiving a few measurements from someone that has a stock Meinl Weston 45SLP.
My leadpipe has been modified enough that I am unsure if it will fit in the aluminum flight case that Meinl Weston offers, and before I order one I want to compare my numbers against the stock numbers to determine if it will work.
The system I've come up with for comparing measurements is based on the dimension form for Walt Johnson cases.
The form is located at http://www.johnsoncases.com/form.jpg
I need to know the measurements of A to B, B to F, B to B, and I need to know what the "thickest part through the instrument at line B" is. I know that's a lot to ask for, but if you're bored or happen to have a copy of that form tucked away from the purchase of a Johnson case, I'd appreciate it if you could share that information with me.
Also, my SLP has the 2nd valve slide kicker (as most do) and I was wondering how the Meinl Weston case worked with that as well as how Johnson cases deal with that problem.
I'm not asking for a Walt Johnson case form...if I go that route I'll fill out my own darn form. The only purpose of the Johnson form is to better describe what I need measured so I can see if the MW case will work.
Thanks in advance!
