Google has unleashed a beta test of a new service: Google Trends.
Choose "more" on the Google home page, then "Labs" then "Google Trends".
Type in the name of a topic and they will tell you which locations have asked for it the most.
I tried "Tuba"...and the first five cities were Turkish, evidently TUBA is the Turkish Academy of Sciences! The next five were Pozman, Poland; Phoenix; Dallas; Warsaw; and Vienna.
"Euphonium" was more to the point. Dallas led, then Houston, Zurich, Atlanta, Manchester, Washington, Birmingham, Chicago, Amsterdam and Melbourne.
