euph mp for tubists

Post by John Caves »

I have a newly acquired small Amati euph (used) that I need a mp for. It came with a Yamaha #48 mp, but it goes in up to the bottom of the cup. Is this an Amrican receiver? Any recommendations for a 'piece?

To tell you the truth, I have no idea if it is a euph or a baritone. It is a smallish, has three piston valves and it is noncompensating. How can I tell?
