I guess that's why I spend so much time on TubeNet. At work, I can only imagine my horn in my lap, my lips on my mouthpiece, the sound coming from the horn...
Reading TubeNet enhances that imagery---which makes me want to be away from the computer screen and practicing even more!

I think tubenet is a great asset to tuba players at any level. I spend some time most every day to see what my tubenet buddies are up to.
It's a chance to learn practical facts from people who really know about practice technique and equipment in todays musical world. Nobody can know it all and posts outside my daily interest areas fascinate me and I appreciate the chance to beat my gums on general interest topics as well.

After working 60+ hours the last 3 months getting all of these school instruments repaired, I hear you loud and clear!!
I think I need a career change....
