Accord Instrument Cases

Post by tubagirl5 »

Has anyone ever seen/tried out/purchased one of these cases for tuba? They seem to be famous for string instrument cases (a trombonist friend of mine got one a while ago and is VERY happy with it)....just curious.

These were displayed at ITEC 2004 in Budapest. Amazingly light, as you might expect with carbon fiber......and they seem to hold up pretty well. Velvet Brown has one--saw her with it in Denver. great idea, I must admit, if pricey.....

Is this considered to be a flight case or just a regular everyday use kind of case? I haven't seen one, so I'm curious.

From the website: "Our recommendation: the ideal case for every day use."

I haven't seen one either, but it looks a bit ungainly to me.

I dig the color schemes, though.
