Looks like it might be Mr. Fritz (Fred) Geib playing tuba. I think he generally played rotary valved Sander tubas but he might have used this recording model for just that-recording. I might be the Conn model listed previously as I believe that Mr. Geib played CC tubas. It' seems to be a rather small instrument-certainly something you wouldn't see in an orchestra today! BTW I've never actually seen one of these Conn CC recording models-has anyone else out there?
