Collection of prominent tubists´bios

Post by tubeast »

Friends, Sean,
upon googleing "Hermann Baumann" I got across the most prominent link: http://www.hornweb.ch/
This site features a "bios" section in which a brief summary of well known hornists´ careers is given.
What do you people think of a similar section in "TUBENET"?
The articles are quite brief and should be easy to come up with, especially when written by students of the person to be mentioned.
Not to say that we should be copying anything the "Glücksspiralen" (Spirals of Fortune aka French Horns) come up with.

Seems the horn world has this down better than all the other brass instruments combined. The IHS website has bios of all those awarded their highest honor - no other brass group does!

This isn't a bad start at a collection of biographies:

http://www.chisham.com//pages.html

Too bad Roger Bobo's (and others) links don't work.
