Howdy,
I know that switching to a "straight in" leadpipe is a pretty common modification on Besson Eb's (mine has one from before I bought it). I know that causes the mouthpiece to sit VERY low, so much that I have to raise it quite a bit with a stand and I'm only 5'9". If it's a 981 type horn, I can't imagine you could need it any lower than even, but then again, if it's one of the super-tall BBb's, I have no idea what would work. Sorry, don't know anyone in the area for you.
