Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I liked your post, and share in your joy. At age 71, my practice seesion today was a bit different from yours. My Miraphone 188 and Blazhevich #69 ganged up on me and beat me up. Gasp. Pant.

When things get rough, I think of Bud Herseth for inspiration.

Glad you got it back. I too laid off for 20+ years before picking it up again about 8 years ago. I play in the community band and a brass quintet. In some ways I 'm better than I was. I think I have more finesse and a better tone than I did. However I don’t have the time to dig into the technical studies so my fingers aren’t as fast as they were. In spite of this, when I play, I make me happy. I think that’s important.
