Minneapolis/St. Paul practice facility?

Post by djwesp »

Looking for anyone in the Twin Cities that might be able to help me out.

I'll be up there for a few days (around New Years) and desperately need a place to practice. The person I will be staying with is not allowed to let me practice (landlord).

The campus requires an ID and was not permitted to use their facilities.

This is going to be a busy Jan and Feb for me with the Navy audition, several recitals, and a possible lecture.

Any ideas on where I could go? I'm figuring the weather would be too cold to go practice in the park or outside in general. Other school practice rooms, music store with practice facilities, etc?

Is your friend affiliated with a church? They may allow you to use their facilities and you may have a chance to play something at a service. There is nothing like playing for God.

I am a repairmen at Schmitt Music in Brooklyn Center, MN. It is only about 15 mins. from Minneapolis. Give me a call and I should be able to set you up with a practice room.
