But highly unlikely.

That would be like offering a major in contrabassoon!

Of course, I was the guy who in casual conversation with my education professor in grad school, on a Friday morning in September 1989, commented that the Berlin Wall would be there indefinitely. (I was stationed there with the US Army.)

They should have a major in contrabassoon. As they should bass-clarinet. These are two instruments that show up far more often in orchestral literature than cimbasso.

I heard Tommy Johnson play the Broughton Sonata on his Rudy F cimbasso in 1992.
