thanks for the tuba advice

Post by tubabuddha »

thought id tell you about how i like my tuba that i just bought
and uncle buck thought i "owe" you guys this so here it goes

i got my tuba this last friday.....opened it up and played it....i never played a CC so it was slightly diffucult for the fingerings but i love the sound this baby can produce.....despite its small compact body it can produce a round big sound ....unlike the last tuba i played in school ( an old Holton BBb) that had a very woofy sound....the valves work great... and im glad i bought this tuba......i would like to try it in a large ensemble to see how it handles but that can wait for now......so thanks for all the advice from you tubanetters

It is always good to see a good match up between instrument and player.
