I remarked to my wife that my BBb's didn't result in any courtship rituals at my house. She assured me that's because she isn't an alligator ....

I assume it won't work either with the cute flute player that the tubist in the story was hoping to entice ....

It's 12:18 am. I'll bet if I start cranking on some BBb's two octave below middle C, right now, I'll get some thunderous bellowing, too. Ain't gonna be no damn courtship ritual, either.
