Aliens?
Does anyone beleve in Aleins?? I saw one ( well actually my freind saw it). I was at my buddie's house in the garage with the door open (it was full and all our stuff wouldnt fit). we were writeing a rock song. it was like...12:00Am. all of a sudden someone threw a rock...but i wasnt rock. it was round and plastic. then, we heard these heavy footsteps...almost to heavy for a human. we looked and there was nothing. so we continued to write and listen. all of a sudden his dog went crazy. He said it only does that when when theres someone or something by its chain and it cant reach it. He said it was probly his little brother. so, he went to look and found his little brother in his room asleep...not outside with the dog. he came back and we started writeing again. a litttle while later his dog went totally insane. it was barking and growling like dogs do when they get really mad at something in there territory. so, we went out a second time...this time I had a knife and he had a golf club. we figured it was just some kid, but we wanted to make sure. we didnt see anything. we did this twice. then, we got dome writeing and i took my stuff into the house while he was getting all of his. i came back and he was just standing there...stareing. i asked him what it was and he said he had seen something...it was about 1.5 to 2 feet tall abnd it was running...fast. it ran the other way and went behind a tree and it was gone. that was the last we saw of it...but then the next day i was travleing out of town and i was watching the sky and something shot up from where we were...Alien?? I think so. I may be crazy but.. yeah. some people think that its a monkey from the safari we have....but it was to small to make that kind of sound...plus the rock?? (which we never found...we looked right where it landed.) And what about the thing in the sky? it was too small and fast to be a jet yet it had a streem like one...

Good thing the Feds caught them before they were processed into "Swift Beef"!schlepporello wrote:Aliens are everywhere in Texas.
They keep crossing the border at the Rio Grand illegally. The Border Patrol just did a recent raid at the Swift Beef plant in Cactus and arrested a few more.

You know, I think you may just have discovered these

Have the neighborhood cats been disappearing?Found: the giant lion-eating chimps of the magic forest

Deep in the Congolese jungle is a band of apes that, according to local legend, kill lions, catch fish and even howl at the moon. Local hunters speak of massive creatures that seem to be some sort of hybrid between a chimp and a gorilla.
Their location at the centre of one of the bloodiest conflicts on the planet, the civil war in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has meant that the mystery apes have been little studied by western scientists. Reaching the region means negotiating the shifting fortunes of warring rebel factions, and the heart of the animals' range is deep in impenetrable forest.

You know some of the other ex-pats here are kinda strange. Maybe they're the other kind of aliens... the kind this thread is talking about. There is a family in my building from France that seems very funny...

You know what? I too hate it when people don't believe me. But it's okay, man. I've never seen a million dollars. That doesn't mean it does not exist. The bottom line is that this UNIVERSE is HUGE. We are talking larger than you and I could ever imagine. The odds that something is out there is quite possible. One would have to be silly to think that we are the ONLY ones. So you stick to your guns and don't worry about what others think. In the end what others think doesn't amount to a pile of horses**t anyway.andrew the tuba player wrote:Ya know...i hate it when people dont beleve other people just because its not proven. i mean, enough people have seen these things that they must be more than a figment of our imagineations right? but, yeah...kinda freaked me out. id never seen (or heard i guess) anything like it

I decided a long time ago that people are just wired differently.
Like, some people have noses that can smell things that other people don't even know are there. (just compare me and my Sig. Oth. -- or even most men and their wives.) Other people can see stuff at a distance that other people can't discern because they are near-sighted. Some people have perfect pitch, others are tone-deaf; some people are completely color-blind, others are blind-blind. It's just when the one doing the perceiving is in a very small minority, that the vast majority starts poking fun at them. Doesn't mean what they perceived wasn't there; it just means that their perception apparatus is out-of-the-norm. This goes for aliens, out-of-body-experiences, seeing Jesus, the Archangel Gabriel, and whatever else you got out there. Yep, a big ole Universe and we'uns is a very small part of it.
We tend to forget that.
